About me
I’m Nadiya Amlani. I’m a woman of a color and a child of immigrants who has navigated leadership across industries, organizations, and continents – from ExxonMobil in the UK, Belgium, and Norway, to Amazon Books UK and US, and Amazon Grocery in the US. I’ve led multi-billion-dollar P&Ls, scaled high-performing teams, negotiated with major publishers, and launched hundreds of products. Along the way, I’ve learned what it takes to stretch into new challenges, navigate high-pressure roles, and translate experience into results while remaining true to your values.
Why I built Kinetic Method?
Leadership didn’t come naturally. As a woman of color, there are countless unspoken rules, expectations, and cultural dynamics to navigate – from knowing when to challenge authority, to finding your voice in rooms where few look like you, to balancing ambition with being seen as “too aggressive” or “too quiet.” Thriving meant figuring out how to influence confidently, advocate for myself, and navigate these complex dynamics.
I explored various executive coaching programs, seeking guidance to accelerate my growth. I realized that while self-reflection is critical, I don’t have all the answers. I craved hearing about what frameworks and strategies worked and how I could implement them.
Through this process, I discovered how to take what makes me different – my culture, upbringing, heritage, identity – and turn it into tools that elevate leadership, while staying true to my boundaries and seeking environments aligned with my values.
That became the foundation of Kinetic Method.
